Cinematography: An Inspired Madness.

I fell in love with cinematography years after application as I realized I did not have to understand it, at least as a standardized produced art form, but rather a methodical one that is deeply personal requiring intuition, patience, and a bit of insanity.

One of favorite cinematographers, Gabriel Figueroa, once described his process as guided by “inspired madness,” a spirit that reminds me that great images are rarely created by formula alone. That idea continues to shape the way I approach every project—with curiosity, intention, and a willingness to explore beyond norms.

Every film deserves its own visual identity, and I value collaborating with filmmakers in discovering what that identity should look like.

Let’s collaborate!
